This Earl Grey is outstanding, and we're not kidding. We've done taste and aroma tests and our Earl Grey tea wins over other boutique teas. A more robust, yet still smooth and silky version of your favorite Earl Grey, we encourage you to switch up your routine and give our version a try - you'll be happy you did.
We're still amazed by how rich, fresh and beautiful this tea smells when you open the bag. We use only the finest full-leaf black tea and a rich addition of the classic sweet, floral and citrus-like Bergamot oil.
Very much a traditional British tea, with an added wow! factor.
Fun to know: We all appreciated Jean Luc Picard making Earl Grey tea famous again in Star Trek: The Next Generation, but the various origin legends of Earl Grey date back to the 1830's. Supposedly, this tea was a gift to a British gentleman, Lord Grey, by Chinese Mandarins. Bergamot, a citrus fruit native to the Mediterranean countries, was used in Britain at the time and somehow made an introduction to one another.
Steeping Instructions: 1 teaspoon tea to 8-10 oz of 212 degree boiling water. Steep 3-5 minutes. This tea enjoys a spot of cream and a dollop of honey.
Comes in a 2 oz resealable bag that gives you approximately 20 eight-ounce cups.
